NTT BizLink, Inc.
Plala Networks, Inc.

The future development of the Agurippa account aggregation service

As of February 1 of this year, NTT BizLink, Inc. (____ Sato, CEO; HQ: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) and Plala Networks, Inc. (Koji Bando, CEO; HQ: Toshima-ku, Tokyo) will transfer management of account aggregation service Agurippa which was provided until now by Plala Networks to the same NTT BizLink of the NTT East Group.

Agurippa is a service that allows for single list display and bundled management of usernames and passwords for multiple online services including financial services such as banks, securities companies, and credit cards, e-commerce, and point-reward programs. It has grown to become the largest such service in numbers of users and content provider sites (information provider sites) in Japan, and with continuous upgrades to the operation and maintenance systems, has consistently delivered a high standard of information retrieval (scraping). As a result, in the two years since the beginning of services, account aggregation services have come to be widely known by general Internet users.

NTT BizLink has been deploying IT outsourcing services with a focus on data centers for business users, and after the management transfer, it will continue to make use of the knowledge accumulated up until now in SI (systems integration) solutions and ASP (application service provider) services to continue to meet the needs of corporations and other end users. In addition, by proposing additional solutions to corporate users who have implemented Agurippa, they will continue to work toward further improvement of their services in order to satisfy their customers.
In the future even more, they will continue to pursue new possibilities for account aggregation services together with the information source companies that play an important role in the service and will propose next step business and service models that are built on aggregation.

In addition, until now Plala Networks has operated a robust service through adherence to security and privacy policies and through a system structure that follows the guidelines of the security feature standard (※) set forth by FISC. Now, following the transfer of management, NTT BizLink will take the helm offering the same quality of service.
