Plala Networks, Inc. Additional compatible financial institution site content partners have also been added.
NTT-Resonant, Inc. (Katsuyuki_______, CEO; HQ: Chiyoda, Tokyo) will today begin offering i-mode compatibility and add additional compatible financial institutions to its goo Passbook and Statements (http://tsucho.goo.ne.jp/) account aggregation service which it provides using Agurippa. Furthermore, goo Passbook and Statements will become the first to provide these added features to users.
1.About i-mode compatibility
Recently, with the improvement of end-user convenience in mind, Agurippa has added a feature allowing the same information viewable from a browser on a personal computer to be accessed in i-mode as well. This effort to offer simultaneous compatibility to both personal computers and i-mode is the first such test among currently available account aggregation services in the industry. It is also the largest service by number of compatible financial institution content partner sites offering information on the i-mode screen.
Users of goo Passbook and Statements are now able to access personal financial information as well as receive email notifications (alerts) about the increase or decrease in their account balance according their personal settings at any place or anytime and even from locations where computer access is not available. Such use of cellular phones is convenient for the user and will become an increasingly relevant tool for everyday life.
2.Additional sites offering displayable content
As of today, goo Passbook and Statements has increased the number of online services sites offering to display of user financial information from the 47 existing companies to 54. This is largest such number among the account aggregation services offered in Japan.
