Plala Networks, Inc.

Account aggregation service Agurippa becomes the first in the industry to offer corporate account compatibility-the Aggregation service enters its second stage with expanded optional features!

Plala Networks, Inc., (Koji Bandou, CEO; HQ: Toshima-ku, Tokyo) operator of Internet service provider Plala (http://www.plala.or.jp/), has begun offering corporate account compatibility for its Agurippa account aggregation service (http://agurippa.com/) which it provides as an application service provider. In addition, optional features including an Account Debit Email Alert feature (patent pending) and a Foreign Exchange Trading Info Display feature have been added.

1.About Corporate Account Compatibility

Until now, Agurippa was provided by an application service provider as a system optimized for individual asset management. Now, in response to corporate clients interested in making use of the convenience of account aggregation, compatibility with corporate accounts has begun to be offered as well. As a first step, beginning April 19, of their network of 52 financial institution partners (the largest such network in the industry), 8 sites will offer the use of account aggregation features for corporate accounts. On the same day, the service will also be offered by Japan Net Bank’s JNB Aggregation (see note 1) service, which utilizes Agurippa. In the future, in addition to expanding the number of sites offering the service, they are also planning to add additional features that will be useful to business users, such as linkage with accounting software.

2.About the addition of optional features

The use of optional features including an Account Debit Email Alert feature (patent pending) and a Foreign Exchange Trading Info Display feature will become available on account aggregation services utilizing Agurippa.

(1) About Account Debit Email Alert
Account Debit Email Alert is a service that sends an email to the user prior to the planned debit date when the total amount requested from the account exceeds the remaining account balance. Through a simple set up by the user, the outstanding balance for a credit card, for example, and the balance in the bank account to be debited are automatically compared, and the alert is activated. The details for the alert can also be checked on the site. (The service is patent pending as the first such alert service in the account aggregation industry.) This feature will be released on Monday, April 19 on Japan Net Bank, Inc.’s JNB Aggregation service (※1), which utilizes Agurippa.

◇Credit Cards :Those Sumitomo Mitsui Cards (including JNB Visa Card) that are approved for use for the month

(2)About the Foreign Exchange Trading Info Display
With the expansion of online financial services and increased numbers of users, the categories of financial information displayed in Agurippa have been expanded to include such categories as banking, securities, life insurance, credit cards, telephone fees, and Internet connection fees. Information on foreign exchange trading, an area that is rapidly expanding in numbers of online users, will now be offered as well.

3.Additional Information

With the introduction of corporate account compatibility and the expansion of optional features, new ways are being sought to fuse client companies’ core businesses and the account aggregation service through the expansion of fields where it is used and the provision of new ways to use it. Account aggregation services, which began as a management tool for personal assets, have expanded to accommodate corporate accounting departments, and even greater advances are expected.

(※1)About JNB Aggregation(http://www.japannetbank.co.jp/)
JNB Aggregation, which makes use of Agurippa, began its service offering on November 11, 2002. Drawing attention from the very beginning as the banking industry’s first account aggregation service, it currently ranks at the top in Japan by number of users.
