Account aggregation service Agurippa to be provided on MSN portal site-initiation of MSN® Money Balance Check Service with broadest financial institution compatibility in Japan




Plala Networks, Inc. (Koji Bandou, CEO; HQ: Toshima-ku, Tokyo), operator of Internet service provider Plala (http://www.plala.or.jp/), will provide account aggregation service Agurippa as an application service provider to portal site MSN®, operated by Microsoft Japan (Michael Rawding, CEO and President; HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). The service will be initiated at MSN® on Monday, December 15 under the brand name MSN Money Balance Check Service.

Agurippa refers to the provision of the gINFOBONDh account aggregation system developed by NTT East Corporation by Plala Networks Inc. as an application service provider. It is currently the top such service by numbers of users and accounts in Japan. In addition to Japan Net Bank, Limitedfs JNB Aggregation and NTT-X, Inc.fs goo Passbook and Statements, it is also being used by TelWel Eastfs TASCAL Home Accounting, and has built a strong reputation, steadily growing its user base in a variety of deployments.

Now, with the development of the MSN Money Balance Check Service by MSNR which boasts 30 million users a month, an even greater expansion of the user base and further growth in user familiarity with account aggregation services is anticipated.
