Plala Networks, Inc.

Account aggregation service Agurippa enters the B2B2E (for corporate employees) market--Helping businesses enhance their benefit programs

Plala Networks, Inc. (Koji Bandou, CEO; HQ: Toshima-ku, Tokyo) which operates Internet provider Plala (http://www.plala.or.jp/), will offer account aggregation service Agurippa (http://agurippa.com/)i¦‚Pjto the employee/retiree corporate information site managed by TelWel East Japan, Inc. (Masaki Horiguchi, CEO; HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) and TelWel West Japan, Inc. (Katsuhiko Fujiwara, CEO; HQ: Chuo-ku, Osaka) as an application service provider.

‚PDBackground

Agurippa is provided by Plala Networks as an ASP that uses the INFOBOND system developed by NTT East, Inc. It is currently the largest account aggregation service in Japan by numbers of registered users and accounts. Through contracts with over 30 information provider companies (content partners), it is possible to centrally manage information from a wide variety of online services ranging from financial services including banking, brokerage services, billing information, and e-commerce, to information from ISP Plala. Also, there has been a steady growth in users due to implementations on Japan Net Bankfs JNB Aggregation (http://www.japannetbank.co.jp/) and NTT-X, Inc.fs goo Passbook and Statements Service (http:payj.goo.ne.jp/charge/aa_top.jsp).

‚QDAbout the provision of the B2B2E model (for corporate employees)

TelWel East Japan and West Japan are operating a business information website for NTT employees/retirees focused on benefits and special product and service offerings. Beginning Monday, July 14, Agurippa will become the ASP for the site, launching an account aggregation service geared towards corporate employees.

Until now, Agurippa used a B2B2C service model where transactions take place between companies first before the service is delivered to the end user. Now, by expanding to the B2B2E (Business to Business to Employee) market, possible uses for account aggregation services will expand even further.

In addition to online banking, brokerage, credit card, life insurance, telephone bills and other business-to-customer offerings, they are considering the aggregation and display of information on corporate benefits such as the balance for workerfs property accumulation savings and information about mutual aid program premiums. Such information would be provided via companies as personal (employee) asset management information.

‚RDAdditional Information

While maintaining the current high-quality service offerings, Plala Networks will create strong partnerships with financial planning services and household accounting software, adding new features in the future. This will create a comprehensive service that extends beyond mere account aggregation to provide comprehensive daily-life support.
